If you are elected what do you plan to do about it? Do you feel that states have a right to nullify unconstitutional laws/actions/regulations and if not why not? County Sheriffs are the highest elected law enforcement officials in America, should federal agents be required to notify and have county sheriffs accompany them on any action in the county? Should products produced and sold only in North Carolina be subjected to federal interstate commerce regulations/laws? What if any federal laws, actions, regulations do you feel are unconstitutional?

For a long time I have felt that we have been going backwards in Public Education and that even our best students suffer. We have had too much interference by the feds as well as the state and it is time to return control to the local systems. At the same time, we also need to set a precedent for hiring good quality leaders and teachers while weeding out those who can't cut it and are incompetent. As State Superintendent I hope you will be compelled to push the State Board of Education to begin cutting wasteful spending practices at DPI, and to eliminate all non- essential positions so that we can return those savings to the school systems. We need someone like you to step up and do this not the lame duck that the current State Superintendent has been. Good Luck and let me know what I can do to help you. John

I think the time has come to be done with the old ways, and to embrace the new. Actually, what Ron Paul represents is paleoconservatism. This, of course, has the neoconservative socialist wing of the party in an uproar. They know that this will eventually lead to the destruction of their power in the party. they don't want to lose that power because they desperately want to socialize the US and the world. They like having a two party system, that is really a one party system with two factions-Democrats and Republicans, making all of the policy decisions toward those ends.
