Op-Ed: The US Government is full of incompetence

I submit that our government is full of lackluster performers, corrupt little people who look out for only themselves, and of course tyrants. Most of them have no real world experience on anything they are “heading” or introducing legislation on, yet they think they know better than us. These folks are fools, but we are the foolish for allowing them to take control of vital components of our financial system, security of our airports, mail delivery, education, railroads, the list goes on. And almost everything these dopes have touched has become a money looser, a poor performer, and a hiring machine for inept lazy people. But those people in the government make more than us private citizens that drive the economy. Every single one of these of these government workers needs to be thrown out on their bum and forced to actually compete in the market place.

Here is someone that agrees, check these out:

Urine or You’re Out

Urine Test by anonymous.

Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don’t have to pass a urine test. So here is my question:

Shouldn’t one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their rump –doing drugs, while I work . . . . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

I guess we could title that program, ‘Urine or You’re Out’ …

Random Thoughts

As we ponder our tumble toward socialization, I wanted to float some random tidbits I’ve picked up from various news outlets over the last week or so. Some are funny, some are scary, and some just provoke thought:

  • How would these politicians feel about taxing the donations they receive at 90%?
  • Is it me, or are we artificially “stimulating” the economy by essentially throwing all of this new spending on a credit card (i.e., the Fed) and praying (oops…is that still legal? sorry) that it gets repaid at a later date? Wasn’t it overleveraging that got us into this situation in the first place?
  • The government creates an environment where it can essentially retroactively void any existing contracts it deems fit and still expects private investors to gleefully join in on public-private partnerships?
  • As of March 16, 2009, the total U.S. federal debt was $11,042,553,971,450.47,2 or about $36,314 per capita. Someone said that this is more than all debts from George Washington to George W. Bush COMBINED.
  • Considering how the government has so adroitly handled the economy, do we REALLY want them handling our healthcare? If you want a case for limited government, just observe the latest stimulus imbroglio. No one even read it? Really?
