Former Marine, Glen Bradley took an oath to defend our Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic. That oath has no expiration date. As an elected official and strong Constitutionalist, Glen Bradley continues to battle tyranny and defend the freedoms. Motto – “Not on our watch!”
America, and by extension the great State of North Carolina is in real trouble. More trouble than we like to admit. Today, we face an existential crisis, a struggle for our very continued existence that has reached such a crisis that it is no longer politically correct to even tell the truth about it. I have never suffered from the disease of political correctness.
The origin of our current crisis arises from the fact that our governments no longer obey their Constitutions. The lobbyists and the special interests have bought and sold our politicians until they, rather than We the People own and control government from stem to stern. This nonsense must be stopped!
The solution to our current crisis is as simple to explain as it is difficult to accomplish. We must nominate and elect rock-solid principled statesmen and office holders who will uphold and defend our Constitutions against every enemy foreign and domestic, against every lobbyist and clamoring special interest, and against all who would do violence to the clear and express writ of our founding documents…even, and indeed especially when our own parties walk away from it.
I have a proven and demonstrable record in the North Carolina State House of doing exactly what I promised in 2010 — stand up for the Constitution even when my own party walks away from it, and fight to accomplish the kind of regulatory reform that will bring job growth back tot he State of North Carolina.
The truth we must restore the Constitutional order. There is no other option. We either restore the Constitution or stand by and watch our governments collapse as our nation and state hurls itself over a cliff bought and paid for by the special interests.
I could have bought myself an easy reelection by simply toeing the party line and acting like the good little drone the party leadership asks of freshmen, but to what end? What point is there in being reelected to a government in the process of self destructing?
I am fighting for the North Carolina State Senate in district 18 because I was the only voice in the State House in 2011-2012 fighting for strict obedience to the Constitution, and I was pushed out of the House because of that solid unwavering stand. In the State Senate, I will have a much larger impact, and I will be much harder to suppress. As the only strict Constitutionalist in the North Carolina State House we cannot allow the status quo establishment to shut me out through crooked and corrupt means as they used to end the House seat I served knowing I would not lose my reelection bid to the State House.
We all know that one of the primary problems in government today are the lobbyists and the special interests, but few of us realize that if we simply strictly obeyed the Constitution then the lobbyists and the special interests would have basically nothing to ask for. Nearly everything they want in the first place is a violation of the Constitution.
I stand with Frederick Douglass, cofounder of the Republican party who said, “the best guarantee of human and civil rights is the strict and equal enforcement of the Constitution.”
We can end the corruption together, and restore the Constitutional order in our day, but we must come together to do that.
You can help return the constitutional conscience of the General Assembly back to Raleigh by voting for Glen Bradley for North Carolina State Senate in the May 8th Republican Primary.
