We are at the tipping point.

An Appeal To God is about right.

Look at what is going on, we have a congress that is making deals behind closed doors, and not just any deal, Health Care Reform. This bill could potentially cause us harm, harm that we may not make it back from. These are the very same people that caused the trouble with the housing crisis and now they are working on Health Care? What do any of them know about Health Care? They do not Care about our Health, they care about money, power over you and I, and they care about getting elected again, and again, and again.

Congress takes trips to distant lands on our dime, they don’t answer our questions, they fight for things that most of us do not want. And some of them should be in prison for the things they have done and are doing. Are they in prison? No… are they stopping their bad behavior, no. And for every bad behavior they do not get punished for they become even more emboldened and their Brass Cajones just get bigger and bigger. It’s like getting slapped in the face over and over, after a while you can ignore it. Until that slap turns into a punch, then a kick. They are desensitizing us on their bad and sometimes criminal behavior. And we sit there thinking, “oh that is bad, but not so bad.” It’s all bad! Think of them as YOUR employee, would you not fire an employee for doing what they are doing? We need to start thinking about these “leaders” not as “leaders” but as our employees. That is, in fact, what they are.

Now look at what the White House did today, or tried to do. They tried to remove Fox News from the Press Pool, a Press Pool that has been in place for years. And they uninvited Foxnews from that pool. This is OUR government folks, the White House is not Obama’s house, anymore than it was Bush’s house. That house belongs to you and I, it’s upgrades are paid for every time you get a pay check. And the people in that house tried to stop a news organization from reporting on them. If this does not anger you then you have already lost a portion of your patriotism. We should FLOODING the White House with calls of “How Dare You!” Luckily all the bureau chiefs of NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, FOX got together and said if Fox cannot come then we are all pulling our reporters from the Press Pool. This was great, and a bit shocking, but great, however the White House should hear from us all so they never step out of line like this again.

We are truly in a scary time for our nation, it’s AAA rating is on the verge of being removed, our politicians are plundering, just plundering the system. (Many of our congress men and women are making money hand over fist, 4 to 5 times as much as most “comfortably living” Americans), worse off our many in congress do not even follow it’s rules and those people certainly won’t be taking part in any Health Care reform that they push on the rest of us. There is so much going on it is hard to keep track, much less write a quick couple paragraphs in any kind of cohesive nature.

So maybe we do need to take our Appeal to the Heaven’s. Our Forefathers did, they started our country with God on their minds, in their soul, and in their writings and laws. Now I am not writing this to get people to pray, although it does not hurt, I am writing this so that everyone puts into their minds firmly what the people who started this nation truly believed in; God, Freedom, Liberty, Justice, and All Men Were Created Equal. And no one, but no one should ever be allowed to take that from us… but it is happening. And it is happening because God is being removed from the government, political system and our lives. You see when our leaders do not believe in God, then they do not believe in our constitution and therefore they do not believe that they are there to serve… at least serve us. They become corrupt and because they don’t believe in god there is no retribution for what they are doing. They get as much as they can while they are in power, and to hell with us. Again, this is not a call to worship but rather a few things to let rattle around in your brain for a while.

So, what are you going to do about it other then complain? Because people like John Adams did more than complain and he did much more than just go to Tea Party Rallies waving flags, yelling and screaming and giving speeches. Not that there is anything wrong with that or that it is not effective, but there is a limit as to what it can accomplish. No John Adams joined and he also reluctantly at times, during the times most needed, led. So what are you going to do? Anything? Because we need those type of people, people that DON’T want to run for office. We need the people with principles, morals and believers in god that are just fed up. And we need to find those people and push them to run for office. Then we need to help them in anyway we can because they will need that help desperately.

So I ask again, what are you going to do? Because history repeats itself and we are in trouble.

  1. You seem very knowledgable about this subject matter and it shows. Cheers!

    Hey Andrew

We are a group of concerned citizens like yourself. We are business owners, school teachers, home makers, carpenters, electricians, doctors and the like. I understand your frustrations and like you we are trying hard to make a difference. The best way I personally have found is to talk to my friends, my associates at work, people that I come into contact on a daily basis. The problems we face today have not just appeared. They actually started with Roosevelt. A good look back at History will show that now the Liberals have gotten what they have wanted for so long, and that is enough control to socialy change the fabric of this great country. We are in a perilous time where we could susbstantially loose a large chunk of our freedoms. Cap and Trade, Card Check, Health Reform, The Fairness Doctrine are just a few of the issues we face but the larger problem we face is the loss of our country to a radical form of government that destroys personal freedom and responsibility. We can not let this happen. That is why we began this web site. It is a forum and a call to action for all its members, but it is not the first and last stop for anyone. By being able to alert and post to this site you can also bring information out that we are not aware of. If you find something that needs attention we will do our best to research it and respond but please keep in mind we also work full time and our time is somewhat limited. We do not have a full time person monitoring this site but we all look at it every day and try to keep the content up to date. We do not accept any monies from any political organization and we do not indorse any candidate. We only indorse a principal and that is Freedom and Personal Responsibility. The Constitution is the basis of our Country and it needs to be followed in our opinion. Keep up the faith and stay involved and connected we will not let you down.
    Thanks
    Fred

    Hello:
Having just signed up for this group, I would like to offer my initial observations. First in response to Nathan, I would very much like to do something for the type of candidate he describes, but where are they? I searched this site and found nothing. After living in North Carolina, for the last 20 years, I can count on one hand the number of candidates for local and statewide office, that fit that description. Second, my first reaction after looking at several pages on this site, I assumed it was not a NC site as the web address indicated. I found very little reference to NC and nothing regarding the Raleigh area.
After returning from a very up lifting experience in Washington, DC on 9/12, I have been disappointed in how little follow up there has been at the national and local level, to keep the momentum going. Over a million attendees came home energized and confident that we could make a difference. Where was the national leadership to continue to focus our energy? ( and I don’t mean worn out politicians like Dick Armey) I will stop now, as I am beginning to sound negative, believe me I’m not.
If I have been searching the wrong sites to find this information, please guide me to the correct ones. Thank you.

    Andrew

What have you done today to help a freedom loving, pro-free market, limited government advocating candidate get elected? What will you do next week, next month next year? These are tough questions. What are your answers?
